Combining foods
Proper food combining is one of the most important elements in a healthy diet. It allows for normal digestion of food in the body and the favorable course of metabolic processes in it.
To derive maximum benefit from the food we eat, we need to know the process of digestion.
Degradation of the food starts in the mouth, wherein the alkaline digestion of carbohydrates, fats and sugars is carried out. The stomach processes the proteins but further degradation of all the carbohydrates, proteins and fats is carried out in the small intestine.
The only acidic environment in the body is the stomach .
Saliva, small intestines, blood and lymph are alkaline in nature.

Body needs simple structures that can be used for the normal functioning of the organism. Proteins are degraded to amino acids, fats to fatty acids and carbohydrates to simple sugars, which are again used for recovery and fuel.
Many diseases occur as a result of an improper combination of food and overeating, since food is not well absorbed, causing fermentation and putrefaction, poisoning the body with toxins and harmful waste.
The more wind is generated in the organism, the more incorrect the combination of foods has been.
Therefore, in order to facilitate the digestive process, it is best to combine one type of food - mono diet. This, however, is difficult to be achieved. Therefore it is recommended the right combination of foods that promote good digestion.

Grains and legumes are best combined with root vegetables such as carrots, beetroot, cabbage, kohlrabi, turnips and more.
